La salud p\u00fablica no puede entenderse sin la investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica ni sin el compromiso pol\u00edtico que la sostiene. Cada avance en la atenci\u00f3n, cada mejora en los indicadores sanitarios, cada innovaci\u00f3n en los servicios, es fruto de un esfuerzo colectivo donde convergen el conocimiento, la gesti\u00f3n y la voluntad de transformar realidades. En este sentido, la Revista RECIDES cumple un papel como un espacio que vincula la evidencia con la acci\u00f3n, la ciencia con la pol\u00edtica y la reflexi\u00f3n con el servicio p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n
En este n\u00famero, los trabajos presentados nos invitan a pensar la salud desde una perspectiva hol\u00edstica. Los estudios sobre el estr\u00e9s ocupacional en profesionales sanitarios y sobre la salud sexual y reproductiva en adolescentes ponen de relieve la importancia del bienestar integral,
tanto del personal que cuida como de las poblaciones que atendemos. Las investiga ciones sobre dengue y enfermedad renal end\u00e9mica nos recuerdan que los desaf\u00edos epidemiol\u00f3gicos no solo se combaten con tecnolog\u00eda, sino con sistemas de vigilancia s\u00f3lidos, participaci\u00f3n comunitaria y pol\u00edticas intersectoriales sostenidas en el tiempo<\/p>\n
